Michael Vermillion (Co-Founder & President)

Michael is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Traxxis GPS Solutions, Inc. He graduated from Frostburg State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance, where he served several years as Vice President of Finance and Management for his Fraternity, Sigma Tau Gamma. After college, Michael went on to teach at one of his hometown High Schools, where he coached Wrestling and Baseball. In 1993, Michael began his work in the wireless world with a Cellular One Value Added Reseller located in Washington, D.C., Cellular Services of Washington. From there, he relocated to Miami and continued his work in cellular sales for an AT&T Wireless Dealer, Florida Cellular. In 1994, he was recruited and hired by PageNet of Florida as the Indirect Sales Channel Manager for South Florida territory, managing over 250 paging resellers and growing the business to over 20,000 new units in service each year. In 1996, Michael moved on to a unique opportunity with a pioneer in providing vehicle location solutions, Teletrac. In 2001 he left his position as Major Accounts Manager at Teletrac and started working with a smaller GPS solution provider out of Baltimore, MD, Integrated Systems Research Corporation, serving as the Southeast Regional Market Manager. While there, he assisted in the software development of the ISR FleetTrack GPS solution and led the growth of the Southeast market from less than 50 to over 1,000 units in service in just under a year. In October of 2002, Michael co-founded Traxxis GPS Solutions with longtime business associate and friend, Andres Bejerano. Traxxis GPS provides wireless vehicle location and fleet management solutions. Michael currently resides just south of Charlotte, NC with his wife and daughter.

Andres Bejerano is the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for Traxxis GPS Solutions, Inc. Upon graduating from the University of Florida in 1991, Andres began his career in sales with some of the best-known telecommunications companies in the world, including AT&T and Cable & Wireless. In 1995 a chance opportunity introduced Andres to the wireless-data industry, where he has spent the past 12 years specializing in GPS vehicle-location and two-way data solutions. Andres began his career in wireless data by working for Teletrac, Inc, serving in various sales & sales management capacities. After 6 years with Teletrac, Andres moved on to Integrated Systems Research Corporation (ISR), a high-end location-solutions provider, helping to build ISR’s presence and expand their sales channels throughout Florida. Putting his experience to use, Andres co-founded Traxxis GPS Solutions in October, 2002 with Michael Vermillion, a longtime friend and business associate. In addition to his professional responsibilities at Traxxis GPS, Andres currently serves on the Board of Directors for Six Degrees, a business affinity group promoting business relationships, and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Latin Chamber of Commerce of Broward County from 1995-2007, most recently acting as Chairman of the Board from 2006-2007. Andres, a south Florida native, lives in Miami with his wife and two sons.
